Brother in law has a log cabin at the bottom of his garden. It is kitted out like a pub with a bar , sky tv , darts One arm bandit , bar etc , and also a model railway running around the eaves of the roof. Like all the best ideas that come out of alcohol we thought it would be cool to have some sort of a bridge for the railway to run across in a section instead of the mdf base all the way round.
It had to be the most famous railway bridge in the world , so here is my effort at the firth of forth bridge. Decided to call it the third of forth , as there is only room for one span in his place. It also had to take two tracks , so i have used a bit of poetic licence with the details , but you get the idea. It is 1200mm long , track width support 125mm and about 300mm at the base
It is not quite finished in these pics , needs more datail with some wiring etc. He is going to also wire some strip LED,s down the centre , so it will be lit up also.
