Not if you are changing tensioner, guide pulleys water pump etc . A bodgers way of doing the job and with something as easy as a CVH engine a long winded way of doing itA tip if you can do it is to cut the front half of the old belt off with a stanley knife then ease the new one halfway on. Then chop the remaining half off and slide the new one on all the way. It works with the ford cvh wngine
