Cut some aluminium on the plasma and then stuck it together with the Mig, it is a mounting bracket for a jigging machine.
Made up some stainless brackets for valves.
Another set of plates, guy wanted them skimmed so he doesn't have to use spacers. As you can see the flat in the centre just merges into the taper.
So after skimming they now have a 1.6mm step down before the taper.

Both mate. Chairs on wheels. Sit for the mixer and stand to patch and play. I've not touched anything in about 4 months hoping this will give me some motivation.

Today I finished the dash and under bonnet wiring loom for the Citroen DS Safari.
Citroen had a novel system of using the same colour wire with different coloured ends.
This would have been fine except all the coloured ends have faded to beige. In the late 60s early 70s they changed wire supplier, those looms disintegrate into a mass of black copper wire.
I've chose to use predominantly British Standard colours for the wires.
Citroen used four fuses (early cars had two) and one relay.
I've used 16 fuses and 12 relays.
I will do the final loom tape once in situ.
The Citroenistas will have a fit. I've also painted my engine block the correct green and added white polka dots.

Rather you than me. RC working harnesses were bad enough.
Currently labeling all my sockets and leads to make life easier in the future.

Excellent stuff. I wish I could play any sort of musical instrument but I have no aptitude what so ever.
Have you a keyboard like John Shuttleworth's?
I invested in a large Brother labelling machine and heat shrink tube labels for the Brother.

Me to ref lack of musical ability .I did watch a Spanish guitar competition on tv and some were accompanied by a guy sitting on a wooden box and drumming on it with his hands . I thought " At last an instrument for me"

Had to look him up. Not come across him before.
Wish I could play better but with midi I can overdub and edit as needed. My theory isn't too bad.
More into sound design though.

Today I found a home for the reamers I bought which Cheb kindly collected for me. What are the odds that the tray they came in would fit my empty tool cabinet drawer like this?
So I didn't have to make a storage system for the reamers just put this one into the cabinet I have. I did cut one slot from the other tray though which was just as good a fit, so I could stack them in the drawer without it being impossible to get them out.
After that I did a bit of wood bothering, and made a rack for one of the other drawers to hold all the change gears for my gear hobber

Not ideal but I can always cut something like that from aluminium for you. If those are the gears I think they are @pete I reckon I made a significant proportion of them about 18 years ago !!!

Are any of them date stamped? I often used to put at least the year of manufacture on bits that I made.Yep a lot of them have AWEM stamped in them
