Seat covers

Pick up a new motor on Thursday, thats like new inside, so looking for a recommendation for a decent car seat cover, drivers seat only.


Ideally something that's easy to put on and take off...you know the drill, if it's a faff, it won't get put back on...so no little metal clips etc. On Monday morning, off Friday lunchtime.

I liked the Snapon ones I used to get a good few years ago, but they tended to slip about a bit. Something like that, but with a bit of elastic round the edges or something...?

i had a snap on one and it did slip around a bit but not enought as to be a hassel and all ways covered the seat parts lasted a year and a half before it give way

We get country covers for our work trucks. Drivers seat cover lasts 4/5 years. Slides down over the back of the seat, the bottom part is held in place with elastic and thing you push between the back and bottom of the seat. All stays reasonably in place

Had some Aldi ones on the Lancia alcantara seats for the last 20 ish years . . .just started to wear out.

Country covers or tuff covers.

I tend to fit them when I get a new truck and leave them on. I put plastic tech cover over the top if I ‘have’ to drive it dirty but try hard to not wear grubby gear in the truck.

Current truck has country covers.

Just wear clean clothes when driving the car.

Dont forget about the carpet too

I use country covers normally last 5 years. But I cannot understand the current trend of people not wearing boilersuits. With a boilersuit if you get covered in oil or grease you take it off and clean clothes underneath to drive home in.

It’s fashionable to wear work trousers and polo shirt. Makes the truck cab dirty. I hate a dirty cab.

We've had Titan Covers on 3 or 4 cars and been happy with the fit and quality.

I've got an amazon basics on in my LC and it's still OK after a year of pretty hefty abuse

Got some budget camo ones of eva/amazon.

£15 a set. Been in my old work van and in current one. 4 years and still OK.
Only thing after a while the waterproof liner starts breaking up.
But cheap enough not to care.

Exactly why I want a cover..

I prefer the trousers and polo setup to overalls.
