There’s a blurry line between detailers and influencers! They seem to like what’s ‘cool’Wurth.
Avoid metso. Overpriced junk, surprised as the detailing guys rate them.
What’s in it? Might be worth a Google for that.Anyone found a decent supplier for brake cleaner? Best deal I have found so far is this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/112884261398?hash=item1a486d2216:g:JfIAAOSw-fNastRE&amdata=enc:AQAHAAAAoCzJo7SZdt/hc3803iQMZszxluEb6pPuikHglDZY/AhGZj8KsWqfgEgYckSEE789ikzIIIkpRU5BJPqhQdRWvB2Il2yoaBF82HDmkP8sMaiMolPS1ddt83lYPl4xlk3ifu/dLHphoRTvcQoRF3IOmi3xfR9e/23pzADUbwtvs/D967OySs/CZO/cmPP6qI65EGSFv+3mg73T5PMcTA8kTA8=|tkp:Bk9SR5aPkLPbYA

Tetrachloroethylene, a deadly danger in brake cleaner
Tetrachloroethylene may be a chemical you’ve never heard of, but chances are pretty good that it’s a substance you’ve been in contact with. This is especially true if you use brake cleaner.www.envirofluid.com
I thought the use of perc was heavily regulated for dry cleaning and near enough banned for any uncontained use? Same as carbon tetrachloride?![]()

Brake cleaner hasn't had that in it in the UK for years, I'm not sure even the yanks allow it still.![]()

When I bought my launderettes 20 years ago they all had coin op dry cleaning machines installed that were in a dreadful state of repair. I removed them as they were a danger to the public, however at one shop there was a metal tank of probably 750 litres of perchlorethylene. It presented quite a disposal problem but I had it professionally removed. Several years later I was doing work on the underground drainage in the back yard and the whole system stank of perc so I dread to think what had been going on under the previous ownership.I thought the use of perc was heavily regulated for dry cleaning and near enough banned for any uncontained use? Zoro was much cheaper but its now £16/20 for 5L.
I wonder how much brake/solvent cleaners the UK gets through each year, but I'll bet its not even a tiny fraction of petrol that evaporates![]()
Would the Wurth one be OK with panel wipe chaps? I haven’t found one that lasts with this stuff. Ta.
