Can you identify this for me?!

Hi, I have what I suspect is Hex bit with a magnetic six point socket in size 5/16".

I brought it a fair while ago from Snap-on and I can't find it in the online catalogue.

Does anybody know what its properly called and is there a part number for this snap-on tool?!

Looks very similar to the driver bits used in Tek guns, they are 5/16" or 8mm. Only difference, they are slightly longer than that i think. Depends on what you are using it in.

you can get adapter bits for drills to allow you to drive normal sockets work well and saves lots on different size nut drivers

Tekscrews are self drilling screws used for roofing, cladding and the like, and come in a variety of thread styles. They nearly always have 5/16 hex heads, although some european branded ones ar 8mm just to be awkward.

I've got a full range of them somewhere from about 3mm to 12mm.
