Well done Vauxhall. The van has no key, just an app. Easy peasy, except if your in a poor signal area, it won’t switch on or off.
Fixed that for you.Well doneVauxhallPSA. The van has no key, just an app. Easy peasy, except if your in a poor signal area, it won’t switch on or off.
You know Dino juice is plant based ? So it’s actually as green as you can getBlimey , do not tell mr soda stream it will just add to his vitriolic comments about anything non Dino juice powered that he cannot hook around in.
True but plant rot juice doesn’t sound as goodYou know Dino juice is plant based ? So it’s actually as green as you can get
My Volvo hybrid has had way more updates in a year than my iPhone - so far so good![]()
The Combo is a Fiat DobloFixed that for you.
Vauxhall's are now just rebadged PSA's. Only difference from the Peugeot/Citroen offerings are the badges.
My van told me there was a BBC wales!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Oh no, not like petrol cars never break down?
My Golf changed the radio station to Radio 1 Xtra the other morning, I penned a stern letter to the Telegraph to voice my disgust
Renault 4! Fabulous things. Basic, utilitarian, functional, reliable - it does what it's needed to do, without fuss, frills or even a hint of frippery. Its perfectly fit for purpose, an honest workhorse.Normally there are a few different levels of entry. The app some might find useful. Normally there is also some sort of e-key in the form of a thick card, then for when the battery goes flat with all the electrics there should be a physical key.
I don't like any of that nonsense either. My van is a Renault 4. The end fell off the key but the remaining stub still seems to work perfectly well.
The simple answer is we shouldn't be getting unnecessary tech foisted on us by govts or by Mfrs.
I'm tempted though to say that if a buyer is daft enough (& gullible enough) to buy a vehicle that DEPENDS on connectivity to function - then that buyer has got the vehicle he deserves.
No-one NEEDS a vehicle that opens, locks and operates via an App. It's a pointless gizmo, a worthless trinket with no real benefit but a much greater risk of unreliability - and you don't need to be Einstein to forsee the issues either.
A fool and their money etc....
There is, its OK sometimesMy van told me there was a BBC wales!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Was at a volvo dealership when their update system went down and a left few cars stuck on the ramps, was told I could wait, passed and asked for my fob back - not a mechanical key, but not an app.A friend of mine is about to fall out with Volvo for similar reasons. Poor connectivity caused a borked upgarde and has resulted in an immobilised car. It has to go to a main dealer to be reset. The nearest dealer that can do it is about 150 miles away. Then there's small matter of a ferry crossing. The car is less than one month old.
