You can never have too many
It wears thin when you do it all dayI have too many hammers - but I can't every remember buying a hammer ever - I just collected them over time.
I have bought loads of handles and metal wedges in my time.
I like the job of putting a new hammer handle on - hard wood wedge in and metal wedges in at 90 degrees.
I can only recall buying 4 hammers.I have too many hammers - but I can't every remember buying a hammer ever - I just collected them over time.

I've got a club hammer on a long handle. Incredibly useful.I found a cross pein head like that and put a short shaft on it and it's one of my favourite tools now. Odd how you get attached to things.

I found a hammer with a shortened shaft on the road on the way to school in '58 and is still the most used one I've got.I found a cross pein head like that and put a short shaft on it and it's one of my favourite tools now. Odd how you get attached to things.
Never been a fan of estwing. Nice hammers but don't work for me.I followed a pick up truck on a motorbike - something fell off the back - I swerved to miss it. Stopped and found it - nearly new Estwing leather bound 24oz framing hammer. Declared it mine (truck had long gone).
Think I need a new tool, it’s been a while ....Never been a fan of estwing. Nice hammers but don't work for me.
Using one of these currently. Can't fault it.

Can't say I've noticed but my hands are pretty toughI have a Stanley XTHT1-51123 FatMax Pro High Velocity Hammer and I was a bit unhappy with the grip on it, might just be a lack of tough hands (as my day job is behind a desk) but the moulded grip was particularly sharp edged and gave me a small blister on one finger. Ended up wrapping the grip in tape which "fixed" the issue but really shouldn't need to do that.... Then again I did use it a *LOT*.
Something needs to be tough to play a pink guitar
He’s from Barcelona.Hammer sandwiches are my favourite
I wonder if anyone remembers where that saying comes from?
