My next possible project. Probably a bench saw, not hand held.
I've a load of scratty pallet remains to cut up and there's no power where they are. I can either take the electric bench saw and a generator or I can cobble some ill thought out and dangerous contraption.
I've access to a couple of small Honda engines, one from a strimmer and one from a 2" waterpump. My first thought is will the strimmer engine have enough torque to drive a 250mm blade. I'd like to use a 250mm blade because that's what I have. I don't want to use a chainsaw because it's time consuming to have to clamp each piece of wood
