With the exception of powertools or anything technology related, usually quality tools get more expensive and/or quality goes down hill over time.
So if you can afford to buy them, and can find a deal - then buy them now. It will usually work out cheaper than waiting a few years.
Totally agree with this and it’s a real frustration. I’d rather pay a few quid more than keep a price point for a piece of junk.
