Sorry to be the barer of bad news but when this last happened in the 1820's it lasted for nearly two years, and then in the 1700's wiped out ~40000 Britons from all the sulphur, sulphur dioxide and sulphuric acid that was throw out

This volcano is causing me a lot of grief at the mo, we can,t get in touch with airline for further info on what to do since our flight cancellation. Can,t arrange a train to Paris, TGV fecking drivers are on strike. Only good news is, I packed extra sun screen.

We operate 4 minibuses and most of our work is schools and airports. The ice in Jan parked us up for nearly 3 weeks now apparantly it's the wrong kind of weather to keep this ash at bay. Deadlines for reopening just keep being moved onwards, it's not funny any more...

I actually meant that the technology could probably cope with the disaster, so they didn't have to stop all the air traffic in Europe.
As for the volcanoes, maybe a big bottle of "Windeeze" or something.
