missing posts

Unable to find a couple of posts I put up last night, tried again this morning and was not allowed to, go the following message instead.

"Your submission could not be processed because the token has expired.

Please push the back button and reload the previous window."

Anybody got any idea what that means?

Are you using a bookmark to find the posts? Might be there's a session variable attached that has expired.

Try clicking on your username beside your last post and selecting "find all posts by Chunko" - should get to the posts that way.

I have done that, eg '' stainless Mig wire wanted" in the wanted section posted 9.57pm on Tuesday night, it is my posts file but I cannae see it in the right section.
I also edited another post around the same time and it hs not updated itself.

Odd, I know for a fact that the minute I post this the matter will rectify itself.

I've found a bit of info on this from http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?296967-Error-Security-token-was-missing-or-mismatched:

If this problem is only happening to some people and cannot be reproduced, the probable cause is their browser cache. Have these users either try a different browser or clear their browser cache.

Otherwise an ISP cache may also be to blame.

Might be worth clearing your cache. Possibly logging off and back on again might help given it's a security token mismatch.

Sorry to seem a bit thick, how do I sort out 'caches'
have logged off and back on.

I saw your stainless wire request post last night .... you're not doo-lally-tap

By the same consequence I too appear to have lost posts that I have physically seen and edited several minutes after posting and have also read the posted edited version so it's not a 40% proof originated problem .


Editing the favourites list before a full clean & back up sessioin then putting up new versions of my favourite sites does not seem to have helped either .

But I do sometimes find that on this site and other Vbulletin sites I play in do lose posts if I try and post when someone else is actually in the process of posting.
I started logging the atomic clock times ( not the PC clock times ) of my posts to prove this and got a pal to press his post at the same second as me .

Now if I loose a post I check the time and see who else has posted , if It's within a minute or so of posting & I'm still in the site area I use my back arrow to pick up the lost post , wait a while then re post.

I can see them all again, thanks for advice Wozzaah.
Go to Tools in Internet explorer tool bar, 'Delete History' and clear everything.

That was driving me nuts.
