I know , but the same person would then begrudge paying £1 for a marsbar . It just seems crazy to pay so much for what “was” a £30k Landy with some sparkly bits .

And in all probability will try to beat the price down when quoted for a job by a tradesman.

If someone has quite a few million in the bank as disposable funds, this will be like buying a cheap motor to mess around in. For those of us in the land of reality it's hugely expensive and hardly worth considering except as a fantasy.
