Bilberry wheel cleaner from ValetPro for me. I don't find it especially hard on the wheel finish, although it's a strong alkali. It's brilliant for getting rid of baked on brake dust, and if you can keep on top of cleaning, you can use something milder.
You mean brake calipers don't come in rusty black as standard?For years I have used TFR or CTFR 50/50 with water to clean my wheels, dont think it has any acid so the brake calipers still have their gold coating after a couple of years.
Auto wheel was the one from BH I had used with great results. I’ve used dozens of tins of their electrox as well as you say great products. Luckily current car has those “aero wheels” that seem to be taking over so not too many nooks and crannies and just seem to need a sponge over.Korrosol - Bilt Hamber
