Grit blasting job offer

I dont think my compressor will cope with this so i am seeing if anybody local can sort this for me. Price dependant as if a lot ill by another compressor lol.

Both outdrives and collars are aluminum and need to get back to bare and are removed from the boat.

I am in Manchester M26.

Mounting color is already off and ready to blast, remove the UJ and prop seal it all then blast it., then run fast lol

I dealt with some 15 years ago, like yours, twin engines, one side came apart ok, the other side needed replacing.

I love and drive Volvo, but I'd never ever own anything by Volvo Penta.

as long as you can achieve 28cfm that will be good on a 3.0mm jet. any less and your flogging a dead horse

its called clean all the parts after you have blasted them and remove anything that can be damaged like bearings and seals . aerospace beadblast a lot of there parts along with other manufacturers

I'm glad you told me that, i guess the experience gained from rebuilding alu block aero engines was worthless in this scenario

what happens when your regrinding crankshafts cylinder heads etc tell me that the crap is thou-rely cleaned off before asembly

its usually a lot more localised than an item being blasted. you crack on and do you, ill lose no sleep over it

It’s ok. I’m fed up of telling him about the risks of exposure to sand, even bought it up with the mods

He can wreck his own health but I very strongly object to every time he talks about using sand for blasting
