So noticed one of my holiday cottages has much higher water consumption than the other. Usual checks toilets over flows etc. All seems ok, with stock clock closed meter is still turning very slowly. So an external leak. But the pipe is 235 meters long from the main to the stop cock. For obvious reasons I dont want to start digging……there is another supply pipe in the same trench.
Is there some gadjet that will detect water leaks 750 mm down in soil. No reason there should be a leak it held steady pressure for 3 weeks before it was hooked up to the mains, and grounds not been disturbed.
