I’m actually tempted. Those batteries are £250+

I’d sell battery charger and the pack out box and get a cheap gun.

Oh, one good thing, dealer gave me the wrong model, didn't notice until I was on my way home. This one has the electronic suspension and is £1500 more than the model I was supposed to get. Phoned dealer this morning and he held his hands up as his mistake but I agreed to pay £500 of the £1500 so everyone is happy, me more so than the dealer I would imagine.

I can just imagine the disappointment you felt when you found out you'd got the wrong bike. Heartbreaking.

Got a pair of 48DHLA carbs to rebuild so hopefully this will help, 10L capacity so should be ideal if it works!

Odd wheels, spokes seem to be laced around the tyre bead area? Tubeless? I assumed it would have solid spoke alloys.

To be honest I am a bit worried in that respect but worst comes to the worst I should be able to just put standard guts in. No plans on selling this one any time soon, it has been exhausting enough

I bet if you did away with the electronic suspension the ignition wouldn't "talk" to the security system or the lights etc.

Makes you realise that for all these years they have been doing it wrong . It's a wonder nobody has had a nasty accident.

Perhaps the design chappy was impressed with the rear spoke layout of the Rudge Multi. Nightmare to build.

Solid alloys not so good offroad, not that it will see anything serious from me as there isn't such a think in Scotland, well there is but the land owners don't let you.

I believe there is a way to disable the electronic suspension but would need a dealer to do it.
