Escape From Tarkov- Any beginners like me?

Just stated playing Escape from Trakov, was wondering if anyone else played it and was looking to team up I am only level 4 .

I’m more of a dayz kind of guy. I keep looking at tarkov but it seems even more toxic a community than dayz, and that takes some doing

Can't seem to get into gaming these days.

Cyberpunk is half complete. I spent a few weeks getting into arma 3 and never went back.

Only game a seem to play a lot is half life alyx and Quake 2 RTX

After a three year hiatus I got back into it, played a few things right through then got cyberpunk....just can't seem to keep focused on it.

Visually it's stunning. Especially with Ray tracing. The soundtrack is superb.
Just something not quite right about it.

Not a huge RPG fan.

Borderlands was the one exception.

I did play through with 2 good mates on VoIP though which helps

I’m level 20, 1st wipe. It’s bloody brutal! I only know 2 maps shoreline and woods, do scab runs on factory.
don’t go customs or interchange it’s just sweat lords!!!

Certainly tarkov looks cool but as said up above toxic communities destroy videogames

We got our son a PS last year, with a VR headset, flying a fighter jet with it

Try starwars squadrons. Great in Vr.

Do a bit of SIM racing in Vr too.

If they ever port half life alyx to ps that's one of the best Vr games I've played. Set the bar very high.

I was playing warzone & COD and battlefield 2042 , but 2042 was so badly made and warzone kept wanting 100gb updates. But Tarkov is totally different, no instructions, and one of the most complex i have seen. Its the only game i have been nervous about playing.

I did try Doom many years ago but I was rubbish at it, never been near a console since.

Me and my son played Doom on the PC many many years ago when you had to write down the password for each level. Even with some cheats codes it was hard. I was away with work for 6 months, came back and couldn’t fine that very important bit of paper, wife had cleaned up. 20 plus years later we still give her a hard time over it. Not played a game since.
