I have recently purchased a workshop manual for one of the trucks, its arrived as an email download. Is there an easy way to get this burned onto a cd? Pooter here is a windows ten steam driven gadget with no bells and whistles.

cds and dvds have near on become obsolite due to usb sticks

if email is in pdf you can change that to jpeg files instead

best to have 2 back ups one on usb stick and another on another hard drive

Mike the cd/dvd gizmo on this pc is a Samsung TS H353c, not sure on the info available whether this can be used to burn a cd or not. May take you up on that kind offer if this doesnt work out.

its just a reader drive not a writer drive

Run Linux like the others have said 8ob. It will make old machines run like clockwork. I run Mint on the shed PC and it works perfectly.

I used to fix my dad's Windows PC all the time pretty much every update would upset it and kill the broadband. Eventually put Mint on it and he has been happy for years.
