Audio cable help

I am in need of a very specific audio adapter cable.

I tried making one and failed, soldering not upto it. I'm sure they exist but I'm not searching correctly

It needs to have a female stereo 3.5mm socket connected to 2 male mono plugs, one to each channel. They must be separate signals (I know the grounds are connected)

I want one mono signal in the left speaker and one in the right

Surely this cable must exist?

I tried one like that but it didn't work, according to Amazon it wasn't that one though so will try again

Go to your massive box of redundant av leads and find a stereo one and some monos, and butcher the wires together. Don't bother messing with the plugs, just cut the wires and twist them together with a bit of tape.

I have 2 radios i want to monitor, not at the same time but I don't want to keep plugging and unplugging them, I am using a switch now but I want to simplify

have you checked it out all wires OK? is the neutral common on headset / speakers and are they connected pin to pin headsets are a pain we get expensive extensions for aircraft wired incorrectly or the aircraft has been modded to fit another head set

Everything works, I just want a simpler setup

I have an audio switch at the minute but that's one radio in the left ear, I just want one radio in the left and one in the right. They are not used together and I want to lose the switch

what your asking for is not possible from 2 different radio unit sources via the same plug you will get crossover

they both have seperate neutral lines to return too via there connection and if one is off its not worth it

best off using in ear headphones plugged into either machine and then into your ear so you can hear both channels with different ears

but be warned some systems do buzz when they are jointed together via a single plug with same return

There won't be crossover as I will only be using one at once, I just want a simple setup I can leave plugged in, as when swapping only the left side gets a signal anyway

Too complicated, I need simple setup. I have 2 mono sources and I don't want a mixer, switch or to plug and unplug things when I switch radios

We do it on a regular basis for Msport left ear D1 right ear D2
Is the headset 4 ring plug that way both isolated, but never had inter mod even with common ground and 3 ring plug.
