Ah yes, of course it is. I really should have known as they were always standard fitment on tractors when I were a lad. I take it they are obsolete these days??Its a Dowty coupling.

Yes, a 154. I really have to get round to a resto sometime as its looking a bit rusty these days.Ooh a 154, good little tractors, love ours
At the moment the splitter is just a project that exists in my head! But i have a few bits of 6 x 4 channel at the ready. I think a QR fitting sounds the way to go, assuming I can find one to fit on the 13mm pipe - I guess it will be a ½"bsp.Crikey that's an old one. Can just about remember coupling up tipping trailers to them but also remember there was at least two sizes.
What does the splitter have cause I would've thought you should bite the bullet and fit a female qr coupling on the tractor and a male on the splitter will be much easier and fit other attachments in the long run.

All the way from Silsoe - that brings back some memories! You can get a Dowty to QR fitting, the best of both worlds. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-2-bsp-...o-dowty-coupling-with-dust-plug-/174251012522
