M18 "compatiable' work lights?

I'm after a work light, so I looked at Milwaukee M18, having the setup currently.

They're even more overpriced than all the other tools! I saw one for £400! (bare tool!)

I mean that's the extreme and they do others in the £70 range, but, even still... £70 for some LEDs?

There's plenty of knock off "compatible" ones about for £30 ish.

Are these really going to be no good? I guess maybe they will light up but not be as tough when you kick them over, or something.

Anyone here have either a compatible or a genuine and want to give me their opinion?

Personally having bought one and being really impressed with it look at the erbauer rechargeable work light.

Even though erbauer may be better / cheaper etc. I probably can't be doing with another set of "stuff" (charger and the like) and would rather stick with overpriced Milwaukee or knock offs.

It's just for convince if having one system. I went M18 for the impact driver which is great, I have no complaints about that at all, but now, unless I suffer too chargers etc I'm just locked in.

buy a battery adapter on ebay then you can use another tools light with the batteries you already have?

or just get rechargeable led worklight.... I've got a couple and they work great, I'm surprised how good they are and how long the batteries last, they were cheap and I bought them years ago before batterie tech was where it is now... they just have little phone/wall wart type chargers that plug into the back of the light

What, get someone hooked on one range? If so, yeah - I had the impact driver "convincer" and now I'm stuffed!
