Titanium exhaust weld

Been asked to weld a titanium exhaust, anyone have any tips on what I need, what size ceramic cup, gas, purge, how long for each weld etc

I thought you had to weld titanium in a bath of argon.

But then I know nothing about titanium welding.

Probably a better expression for bath of argon, liké an enclosure, purged.

Got a #12 I will purge it watched a couple of videos last night, he has a few damaged pipes I can try a bit on, seems it has to be super clean,any more info let me know please much appreciated

I did my own motorbike exhaust mods on some R1 titanium cans, worked well just with a Furick BBW and purge, came out gold in colour. Quite satisfying

Not sure what size cup it is TBH. I think it's bigger than a 14 because the Furick mooseknuckle is a 14. I believe it's a 16/17.
Mine's the older non threaded version, the new brass insert version looks a really nice setup. Worth buying just for the fun of it, but also, for stuff like titanium it gives you a bit of an advantage
