I am repeating what senior managers told me who have worked there for 20 years. I trust they knew what they were talking about. Not just Googling for answers.
It's all political - imagine their share price if people thought they were going to put nuclear waste down there. Of course they will deny it.

Never mind the waste they know the geology of their mine better than anyone. If the tunnels close back up the way they described 3000 feet of solid rock below the North Sea will stop anything. Well apart from cosmic rays. They have a dark matter lab down there

Wouldn't be.
Something like 600 miles of tunnels down there. The scale is incredible.

I applied (Accidently ) for a PhD to do with designing storage containers for deep borehole disposal, it's a research area, it isn't a viable solution yet. I think the fact that they wanted to pay three graduates for three and a half years, just to develop finite element models of these containers suggests there's a lot more to it than "drill a hole and drop it down". The chap who interviewed me has written literally dozens of papers just on the cements and grouts for backfilling and capping off the holes.

I can't find the article I read at the time now but IIRC if it went ahead it would take three years from starting drilling to having the hole full and capped off, and it would take two hundred holes to contain all the high level waste (Not sure if that's the UK's or the world's waste). It's only being considered for the highest level waste because there's too much medium and low level waste for it to ever work.

Existing holes in the ground will always be cheaper.
Abandoned mines/tunnels have already served their purpose.

Red / derv is 36 seconds . Correct me if wrong , so not a lot in it to adjust if you went over completely .

The Riello (and other) burner handbooks have jetting recommendations for 28 and 36sec fuels.
It's quite a common thing, having a shared bulk storage tank for farm diesel and heating.

, on a sealed pumped system .

He spent some time loving abroad and said that is how they did and it’s “supposedly” more efficient .

I’ve seen top and tail pipe work here before on old pre TRV systems . But not like his .

Mines a Benetone , and I “think” it won’t be much different .. Luckilu my 20 year old Wallstar is just a burner and water jacket . Not a lot to go wrong ..

As for a shared tank … maybe it’s times to start a small holding , work that loop hole .

That is how I have piped every care home or commercial space I have worked it, over a big space the small savings add up

I'm not sure if it's in the building regs or not, but it is definitely how TRVs are designed to be used
