Chester 626 riser block complete.
Two coats of primer and two top coat.
Brought into the house to harden off for a couple of days.
I am going to try and make a longer leadscrew for the knee riser to compensate for the extra height. Does anyone know what acme thread it is? @doubleboost ?

very neat and accurate job that... ...whats the cutter ground like? or is it just "grooved" to a deadstop?

Yeah thanks John, it measures 24mm dia. And 10 tpi. Not sure if Acme or trapezoidal though...

I did mine ACME but bushed the nut as well .
If i was doing it again i would use a ball screw and nut.
If you use a DRO it can be any pitch you like

It was yesterday evening but I made another brake pedal. A guy on the Africa Twin forum said he thought a longer pedal would be good so I decided to make one and see what I thought. If I don't like it I will go back to the previous one I made and he will get this one, if I do like then I will be making one for him.

Anyway a couple of comparison pics, first pic shows the colour to be very different, not sure why but they are a fairly close match.

And fitted.

I need to do more stainless to understand how it flows better, hoping to get a little more practice this year
