Are there any European manufacturers of 75mm 240v cutoff saws, there are 3 in the States all around $50 the best value is a 120v but all double in cost with transport, local taxes, and import taxes, so much for Brexit.

Surely this is the huge deal we were promised that would make us better off outside the EU? It was all they talked about until it turned out to be a pipedream!

When we had a trade deal with the EU it was all tariffs not just pilsner beer and croissants our onion seller has disappeared complete with beret. Also that deal was with New Zealand and Canada maybe I can get a cutoff saw through Canada over time.

If a chopsaw came from Urmerika I am pretty sure it would of originated from China, may as well buy it off the bay of thieves.

Cutoffsaws on the bay of thieves are all the air-driven variety I have one but I don't have enough overhead on my compressor to drive one they are air hungry.

I've never seen one. Looks like there's plenty of 12v cordless right angle ones but I've never seen a straight one or a corded one.

I made an adapter to use 76mm discs in a die grinder but with no guard I wouldn't recommend anyone do it themselves.

Also worth noting that the cheap tools available on amzon and fleabay are generally of dubious quality and will use considerably more air than a good quality known brand
I have a Bluepoint one and that is rated at 3.5 cfm so not bad
Sealey rate theirs at 6cfm I understand that some of the real cheapies can be as high as 25cfm.

That's what I thought, I wish Dremel would come up with a 75mm cutoff saw it wouldn't be hard to design, using a natural 240v motor speed no gearbox, just a an over-speed electrical circuit.
