About £300 more for the Fronius. And that's nothing over the lifetime. So a long problem-free lifetime is key. I like an awful lot about all three machines. But Fronius would be spoiling myself. Like buying a Porsche tractor. If I wisen up last minute, I'll probably go the Lorch. People who buy their own welders seem to go Lorch. I couldn't believe how tiny they were when I viewed one. I did feel the control pro screen was a bit janky. The Fronius has by far the nicest product design/useability and interface. At the end of the day I want a machine that leaves me no excuses for shoddy welding.Actually I've just seen the price of the Fronius so I retract my statement. Buy a Lorch Micortig 200 controlpro instead, it's superior to either of those machines in just about every way
Or see what you can haggle robbie260 down to for his micortig and battery setup
