This is what happens when the grids on the lane are full of carp, which is always. I usually end up emptying them. There's a big grid I installed at the top right of the steps with a 6" drain, this is the excess that jumps over a 6" stone lip below the grid. There will be another couple of barrows full of top dressing gravel in the sump by now.

Took a fence panel down before it left under sail lol and been on the genset since midday friday so got of lightly compared to some.

Got to wonder how the gov thinks we will be all electric if a couple of hours of medium strength winds knocks the grid out for 3 days plus.

He got let off by Natural England even though they had him bang to rights. Not only that, they gave him a huge grant! The minister that reviewed the case is also a grouse moor owner so no conflict of interest there. Oh, and he gave a few bob to the party coffers......

Simillar to when I was up hiking , After the snow has settled and it is a nice clear day with some sun it makes for fantastic views , Just don't tell too many people its nicer quiet

I wonder how long before they come up with the idea of making UNDERGROUND cabling mandatory. That should cause a fuss.
