Hi all.
So I bought this from Bob a month or so ago.
It runs but was extremely noisy from the head so I've started looking into why. First step, quill. Some play but smooth to spin so I've put that aside for the time being - will change bearing later on.
Auto feed had been mangled by someone who doesn't have a clue what they're doing. That's well on the way to being fixed.
All cleaned up and reassembled for the time being.
So the noise must been coming from the pulley bearings, of which there are three.
