Wanted : 2” bsp brass caps with finger grip

Hi, as this place is the font of all knowledge, I need your help

A mate is after 2 off, brass, 2” bsp caps for the fuel and hydraulic tanks on his train.
He doesnt want the ones with a peg on the sides, he wants ones with finger grips, (if thats the right term) I can make them but it would be good to buy some or even better some old ones with some patina!

Anyone know a supplier please?

Stainless, iron and galv are usually round, brass are usually hex

I don't wish to state the obvious, but have you tried Google? It's awash with them!

He's looking for ones with what we called finger grips. what I'm trying to describe is a brass, 2" threaded female cap but on the outside, has say six, semi circular indents for grip.

Time to make one perhaps? Round off the hex and face the top of a hex plug. Make a scalloped brass ring, bored to fit the boss, and silver solder together

Yeah, that's exactly what I suggested, no point but he said he'd buy them if available.
