Stumbled across this earlier ,the first video explains the idea ,open source machine that when built,can make better than 50% of itself by printing ...in plastic and other materials including the electrics ,every house could make their own parts at home ....WOW!

This could be a problem if enough of these machines get out into the wild they will breed exponentially, then the surface of the world will be covered in machines several meters deep!

For what it's worth, the local Siemens factory that makes inverters is full of machines that are mostly powered by, and use, Siemens Automation products. - So there are inverters making inverters!
