The big problems appear on the one's that haven't had the later oil pump fitted. Seems on the original version they would snap the casting, taking the timing belt with it. You'd like to think most would have been done by now - particularly on high miler, as they are easy enough (And fairly cheap) to change when doing the timing belts.

The suspension needed somebody to look at it that knew their stuff. It had been on several big-boy testers at local Land Rover specialist garages and they hadn't been able to suss it. I suspect it was something simple, but I didn't have time to do it myself.
