Need A Spindle Clamp Printing

Has anyone seen Stefan Gotteswinters video of slotting using his Optimum mill?

Well he printed himself a very useful spindle clamp to lock the spindle. I need something similar, using a pair of compliant mechanisms to achieve clamping.

Is anyone able to do this? Obviously I can do the CAD but i don't know how to tell a printer to make it.

Make it as a solid object then depending on your software export it as a 3mf or stl. 3mf is better as units and dimensions etc are all included unlike stl

I could make it from aluminium, obviously there would be a serious amount of machining to do, but the other issue is my machine has a 4" quill so it would require quite a lump

I would think it’s got a clamp, very strange

It's got a clamp to clamp the quill travel up and down, but nothing to stop the quill turning.
The clutch has a brake, but it only brakes the motor (you can still turn the spindle it just becomes much more difficult) , so there is backlash in the spline and the gearbox, so I've got about 30° swing
