Im planning to roll a bottle.

How much more clutter are they going to strap onto a bottle? I was a wizz bottle roller when they just had the tap on the top, cant get to grips with these tap guards and now they have added gauges

Yes the neck perfectly fits in that fat bit between thumb and index finger

Never underestimate pure Oxygen. Theres not much that is nastier if you throw in a hard 90 or some oil / dirt .

Once you use acet , nothing else will do . You spend more on acet , and save it on your oxy.

U read that you use less acet compared to polyprop

I mused the options but don't think I can live without it, recently bought some propane tips for the gas axe so will give them a go.

Acetylene is beautiful for cutting compared to propane, it's almost surgical but a plasma cutter is much less fuss. Can't use it for heating things though!

pure oxy is potentially deadly , an oxygen fire is very fast and viscous , all it takes is a spot of oil or grease to start an oxy fire and a sharp 90 creates heat due to an effect called adiabatic heat of compression , its like putting your finger over the end of a bike pump to make it squeak , you also burn your finger .... that heat can cause a fire / explosion if you crack open a cylinder of 02 into a tight 90, if you ever watch a gas blender handle pure 02 and a welder handle pure 02 you will see two very different approaches to the same gas. Its not the oxy that burns it just makes it a lot easier for anything else that will burn to do so a lot faster and hotter .

Propane takes much longer to preheat but when it's actually cutting I prefer it to acetylene.

my plasma wont cut 20mm plate it will just do 10mm messy though! I hear acetylene will pee through 20mm

oxy acet will cut up to about four feet thick in steel

Yep, with the right nozzle no problem, and quick.

Oxypropane, once the metal is red hot the oxygen is what makes it cut.

Once going you can in theory switch of the fuel gas

If you're cutting 20mm, acetylene will be better than propane as you'll get a cleaner cut...so much less cleaning up with the grinder afterwards!
