I wish to make a steel sculpture using 0.4mm steel sheet. I propose to make the joints, which will be hidden as each part will overlap another, by small "blobs", rather than attempting seams. My MIG welder, a Sealy MightyMig 100, is an earlier version that has gas, not the current gasless model. It goes down to 35 amp. Is this likely to be low enough for this thickness?
