How small are chocolates getting

Anyone notice Cadburys chocolate is nowhere near as nice as it was years ago ? I used to be in their factory in north Dublin for an engineering company i worked for, and you could buy surplus chocolate, i bought a massive box for £30. It all got mysteriously eaten, but the wimmens didn't know anything about it, suspicious that !

But i bought a bar last year and it wasn't as nice at all, it had a horrible aftertaste.

a lot of it is made in the gaff in Poland now tastes ****e! compared the the stuff ade here 10 years ago

That one really gets on my nerves, why on earth would you sell it in prime numbers, surely they don't expect you to eat one rasher a day.

Im told your taste buds all stop working at a different rate , some call it a maturing palate and thats why you dont really appreciate red wine till your over forty ,,, could be true .

Kleenex tissues went all small and withery a couple of years ago. Measured on a set of sensitive scales, the "new" better, "same as they always were, but better" sheets were about 40% lighter, if I recall. The box became smaller, too. Ecologically friendly, so they said. The price never went down 40% though!! Stayed the same, or even went up!!

Yeah, not even as good as I remember when buying it overseas. Same as with Coca Cola when I was a kid, you could take a swig off of a bottle and feel it rotting your teeth. We must be getting bigger nowadays, as all products seem to be getting smaller, even condoms.

There are a couple of reasons. One, they have switched to the yank Palm oil recipe and two, it now contains a glass and a half (of an unspecified substance that used to be full cream milk).

Ive noticed many multi packs getting smaller this year. Used to buy cadbury brunch bars to take one with me on long runs, now 5pack insead of 6. Mars are 3 instead of 4. Havent bought them since - found lidl sell their "Racer" bars which are smaller than others, but you get 6 or 8 for 50p.

Ive heard the complaint about the size of Quality Street tins getting smaller when Im volunteering at one of the local museums. my answer is to tell them that the tin stuck to the roof is an original one from 1936 (most of the sweets are 12" to 24" long)

and then hand them a doll house sized tin and tell them that next years prototype

Nicest red wine I've tasted was a Blackberry Merlot, surprisingly by Gallo, a company known for selling the cheapest swill bums overseas would drink. Seeing the prices their "Imported" status wines go for here in the UK makes me laugh.

Tassimo coffee pods are now coming in packs of 7 instead of 8!
Toblerone tried this a few years ago buy massively reducing the size of the bars, a backlash followed and I've never bought them since.

I remember when they introduced the giant mars bars and double sized Boosts and Twixes. Press had a field day whinging about unhealthy eating etc. In a stroke of genius some clever marketing dept came up with the duo. Just split it into 2. Media went quiet then

yet its still smaller in size

your all slimming tax against the price of the sweet bar

too many cooks being all mouthy yet have no idea how to eat on a low income
