Whereabouts are you? I build stoves, so I use a fair amount. I've found the best way is to ring around your local glass companies. One of them will stock it, commonly also called contratherm, ceramic glass or boron glass too. It should be half the price of stove shops selling pieces for specific stoves. Rope is available on ebay as already stated, just check your size. I only keep 8mm, which I buy in 25m rolls, along with paint, direct from the manufacturer.
I thought the rope was 10-12mm but depends if you measure pulled tight or relaxed.
Can get glass online for about £20.

I bought a stove glass for an Aga Little Wenlock earlier this year, it was 260 x 200mm though. Found a UK company online called the stove company which delivered to NI for me. I think it was around £23. No affiliation to the company, just had a good experience
