Hi guys,
I hope you can throw a bit of light on an issue that has suddenly occurred mid job. My Clarke 135TE has been working fine all day welding 5mm mild steel tubing. I’ve set the power to 2/max at a feed speed of 7 and it’s been sweet as a nut. Then it suddenly started tripping the breaker as soon as I pulled the trigger. I’ve tried dropping the power and speed which worked briefly but then blew the 13a fuse in the plug. I’ve tried it on different circuits but no joy. It’s a good little welder but this is the first time it’s been used in quite a while. I would be grateful for any help.
Jed.
