Tig torch hook

I bought two of these for £8 delivered, I needed them more than I wanted to make them.
Price is a bit steep right now, though! Engweld still sell em for under £10. They work well, if you have the longer back caps. It doesn't hold it securely with a stubby backcap.
EDIT: If I was making my own I'd definitely want a little tungsten holder integrated, just a little tube or something to stand a couple tungstens upright for easy grabbing. ATM if i have a big job on i just have a couple sharp ones sat next to the holder and they escape sometimes.

I couldnt allow myself to waste a good peice of 4mm sheet on this so I had this bit, 2mm annodised 5005. Took aboit half hour for the orbital sander to get it all clean and polished up, now 1.8mm.
2mm sheet was a bad choice. Going to bend along the length to strengthen and possibly run a couple of beads, or some extra sheet to strengthen it up. Its a good fit on the wp20 but not too great on the wp17.

Nice holder, but wouldn't that vice be better closer to the edge of the bench so that long workpieces could be held vertically?

Turned up some alu collet holders. I cant decide where to stick them on the torch holder, or if they should be a seperate peice - Im thinking a peice of sheet with a 20mm round and a magnet, for storage it will sit in the torch slot ( torch being coiled up on the wall) and in use it will be on the bench.
The 1.6's look a bit fragile. Might drill them out and put a peice of steel.
Turning alu small diameters is a challenge. I took the full cut in one pass - but with the wrong inserts!
Intentionally slightly over size to keep them secured.
