The diagram as above is from 7671 which sets standard's as we both know, the diagram is best practice as is all off 7671 so you if you had multiple unfused spurs of one point you would be contradicting 7671 and would then need to make absolutely certain that what you are doing is safe as a court will likely just ask why you ignored best code of practiceIs it clearly stated?
As far as I know, current regulations only stipulate that the number of unused spurs must not exceed the number of points connected to the ring. Noticing actually says you cannot have multiple spurs connected to one point.
I don't agree with it, and like most electricians I avoid adding unused spurs as far as possible, but I don't think any regulation actually forbids connecting 2 spurs to one point.
