Hole saw any inside corners then??

Pretty much yep. I draw where I'm going to cut with a black Sharpie. Use a hole saw for the internal corners then multitool along the marked line.

The plastic is tough and strong but a sharp internal corner will tear.

Until I have a permanent workshop/home for the stuff, in my oil container totes I have:

- Hammers
- Saws
- Resin Gun and nozzles
- Clamps
- Leftover Geberit bog frame spares
- Bolsters and chisels
- Mastic gun and nozzles

Most sensible thing I have done for a while. Somewhere to keep all those useful odds and ends of scrap that's too good to bin (i.e. any offcut). Can't just put them in a deep drawer or bucket because you'll never find them. So I made a very shallow drawer that runs on the floor, under a bench into a walkway.

Might not look like it but there is way in excess of 50kg in there.

At the mo my metal off cuts are stored in front of one of the cars, wasting floor space etc. All stick up / out so dangerous as Hell if you fall or catch your ankles.

If I copy this idea I can store most of it under the car. Only thing is I'll then free up floor space, which I'll fill again and I won't be able to get the draw out!

Btw, is that 25mm ply you've used?

18-20mm I should think (recycled/found material) but the trick is to use half a dozen of those titchy castors. Point load with a span of a few inches of plywood is immense, I reckon you could get away with 100kg or more right up until you can't physically move the thing. Also no need to worry about runners, it just aligns itself in the space left for it.

Yes, I have debated creating a box junction with some yellow floor paint I have against the grey floor. I'd probably feel guilty but I'd still cover it up!

When I can I bring home the inners that wire lifting ropes come on. They just seem too good to waste. About a foot long and 8" in diameter. For years they piled up. Heavy duty, pvc maybe mdpe. It's stamped on them, I must look. Then when I plastered the bathroom ceiling they acted as excellent supports to build a temporary raised floor so I could reach.

The drums also yield x4, foot long, black steel, M10 bolts, nuts and washers. I've a blue, ex oil tub full of them. The only use I've found for those to date is as the sacrificial electrodes in my electrolysis tub.

I digress, ref workshop ideas I now stack the tubes on their sides, on shelves, and they act as handy storage pigeon holes, both within the tubes and the gaps between. Coupled with a cut down 5L container...pics to follow!

Well I did nick the idea. Utilised a shelf from my old trolley, and some castors from my stash. Not as neat as yours but functional
I will probably deepen it when I can get some timber to go round the sides, but for now it stores short bits and pieces out of the way under the bench.

A swing lift/engine stand combo is a great gadget if you are building engines, 6" pipe stacked up and bolted together is also another handy place to store cranks safely and stops them getting dinked.
