With many of the projects I am involved in we have lots of items that need rust removal.
The largest collection of tools are the gardening tools, forks, spades, hoes, rakes and many more. We have found a supplier of handles and shafts, so we are good in that part.
Recently we had 12 spades sand blasted, painted in house. The blasting removed the rust and gave a good key for the paint, but in use the paint is removed and the soil sticks to the blade.
In the past we used Citric acid to remove the rust. Then went over with flap disc, flap wheels and scouring pads. But this was time consuming and members were getting board.
So I am looking into what is suitable for gardening tools, tool box's and a host of other items.
So, what is out there, what is suitable.
Price, the last place gave us a price based on weight of the items. Are there other ways of charging?
Thanks in advance.
