anyone know where i can get a transformer and rectifier for the above model. bought one off the bay that was spares but the tranny and rectifier are kaput

Hi,

Ebay, Shop River. I found them to be very helpfull when I needed spares for the Berlan, and postage was cheap enough (although that was just a circuit board).

Delivered in less than a week from China.

Same place, go on eblag and type in plasma cutter, there are loads on there and for little money

I've cleaned a bit of the 10mm plate up in an electrolytic bath and cut a piece off. Slow going but there's no real hurry!
