My licence has my picture, my name , my age, my address, the only difference is when I renew it will have the Union flag on it instead of the EU one. That is not an issue for me as you can buy wee Saltire stickers
No flag, just says UK with a blue background

well they've been talking about id cards for years its nothing new, Ive got nearly 20 years to go before I need to change mine, I'll worry about it then. if you're not doing anything wrong you have nothing to worry about. and some of us still have no photo id of any description.

Nothing new to me. I've had a driver's licence for over fifty years. This new version in the UK is just like those in the USA, which has always been that way as far back as I can remember.

What is actaully wrong with the idea of an ID card?
I have often thought - with current tech - we could condense everything onto one Gov.com card.
NI - doctors number - driving license - passport - the whole ball game.
If M15 follow me about for too long there are gonna get bored stiff.

Ive no issue and would in fact welcome some centralised, joined up way of doing things
Despite having a licence, passport, Govt gateway, ni number, nhs number etc it took 5 weeks to prove I existed to get my covid vaccine

Never mind the ID card, what I'd really like is one single loyalty card that did them all; Tesco Clubcard, Nectar, M&S Sparks, Co-op, etc..!
