Running round at the back. It's not good for a Driver in a top car one year. Dropped to a midfield car and then a rear ender..even with GR in it.

Shame to see Kimi out of F1, undeniable talent behind the wheel but lacked the ability to set up a car or relay info to his engineers for that race winning tweek . Hakkinen was another like him, if it wasn't for the test drivers of the day relentlessly hammering the tracks and handing him a perfectly set up race car he would never have won championships.

F3 was a bit of a procession,
so here is my pondering relating to the safety car.
F3 is slower than F1(well it’s meant to be) so does the safety car go slower for F3 than F1 ?
also I noticed that no lap times were posted for F3, the lead car just had interval and the following cars just had the time difference displayed, is that because the F3 lap times are close to the F1 times ?

Not garbage, it is just the drivers have to be cautious as once the black bits end the gravel and grass start taking prisoners.
Well IMHO it's garbage as a race consists of overtaking. That's why I hate Monaco.
There is no overtaking on that track. Yes it's nice to drive and yes you need to keep it on the black stuff. But that's not difficult as Max has proved he is usually way over the track confines.
It's weird that the commentators say they can't wait for the race tommorow.
I guess that's because there was no "race" last week. Lol
6 red flags in 4 hours says it all.

Yep, made it very interesting, race should be good. Cars out of normally expected places and difficult to overtake, let’s see what tomorrow brings, hopefully not another safety car race though.

Just watched Ted’s notebook, he said ‘“it’s my favourite circuit” so far I am tending to agree.

6 in quali. Definately in the race everytime someone goes off.
But what my concern is most of the Anti F1 dudes on here want overtaking. All this track does is reaffirm their views on F1.
This will do nothing but kill of hardened F1 fans
I would love to be proved wrong but I fail to see how a track you can't overtake on is a sensible idea.

Goodbye overtaking hello strategy . Welcome to the new improved F1 . Next step is to do away with the drivers and then the actual cars .......OH NO ! Just realised tomorrow is already yesterday in the virtual world. Many years ago a very well known M/C race tuner said that would be a good idea to do away with all the racing bit and just put the engines on the Dyno to find the winner.
I never got that far or the army of brooms needed after every off. It's a pet hate of mine tracks where you can't overtake.
Apart from that I am quite surprised at the amount of drivers who love it.
I actually like the ideas but the implementation looks to me that it wil be worse than Monaco. That said most drivers love Monaco...perhaps I am not nostalgic enough.
My son was gifted a track slot at Silverstone today and said even the cut down circuit was awesome.....let hope I am proved wrong tommorow.
