I think it is to show that you won't just wander out in front of a machine, or set fire to something before you go on the course. Would be a bit unfair to give me a machine specific one before I have sat in a machine (I hope...)I thought the generic Cscs was just for a labourer, trade skills and machine opps are or were specific. Either way you can order the material in book form and thumb through it, a bit easier to digest than the online version.

The issue is, who’s gonna go against a Check.I'm not sure how well known this is, (I was surprised when I found out [1]):
A CIB/DBS check doesn't automatically disqualify you for a job:
When the report comes back, it gives a list of any convictions, and "police opinion", but it is still up to the prospective employer whether or not to employ.
[1] i was vetting prospective PAs for a disabled friend.
when daughter joined the navy they check the parents and all your rellies and make sure theres no commies or terrorists etcThe issue is, who’s gonna go against a Check.
where it starts getting really interesting is when you seek defence vetting, that’s a whole different ball game
Class A is solid fuel so I would take a educated stab at Electrical. Also they have removed electrical as it’s own class now. Used to be E but they decided as electric can’t burn but it’s a fire starter then it doesn’t need a class.
From an advanced ship fire fighting refresher earlier this year. However I was attending not teaching so I stand to be corrected but I am pretty sure it’s right![]()
Nope, I thought electrical too. Apparently class f. Has the feeling of a computer generated question which has got a bit confused somewhere along the line!

Class f is oil / liquid. So the oil is on fire then sets fire to the wooden shed?! Man that’s deep!! I suppose if that’s their logic then “all of them” would be more appropriate
