Not so much acquired as reaquired. A hopefully now working, rebuilt 2.5L G9U630 engine for my Vivaro camper van.

Just need to try to remember where all those plugs and pipes go now!

And remember next time to buy a van with a common engine, not a let's try and wedge this in there special.

It's not just ready meals, it's their cooked meats. I don't know how they get away with it, but it shows how cheap the chicken must be, to be shipped across the world.

you can only imagine the welfare of the animals and the quality of their feed/antibiotics etc etc.

Just for a change i visited the yacht club scrap skip, many of you will have noticed that over the last few years i have done rather well acquiring stuff out of this skip.
Well today it was a case of Today i didnt acquire! Sticking out of the skip is the remains of a Pashley Courier tradesmens bicycle, it had been in extremely good condition & fully complete. Unfortunately some complete klutz has chopped it up with an angle grinder forks, frame handlebars all fubared.
They are going for well over £300 on eblag. I could have sheet & stamped in it!
Ah well better luck next time!

I hate castors that don't lock rotationally with the wheel brake. Stuff still moves with the brake on. Where did you get them from?

Last saturday actually I acquired a Kemppi master tig 150 .


I was assured it's in full working order , we'll see . Mind the bare torch feed on the rear

It's got a Wp 26 F torch fitted , slight overkill for a 150 . also came with a twin gauge reg and flow meter ,4m 25mm ground lead ( clamps a bit iffy and the dinse connectors missing it was the only thing stopping me testing it as all the dinse cons are 10-25 and all I've got are 35-50 ) also a WP 17 torch it's had the switch cable butchered a power adapters and a dozen or so tungstens . I've found a small dinse so I'll give it a go shortly and if alls good I'm thinking about some upgrades, another sort of impulse buy as I've new lincoln 175TP sitting in box still !
anyone know if you can still get the manuels for this of the kemppi site.

None in the best condition but clearly well used and thumbed. Not going to ask silly money.

I've never actually sold anything on eBay so it should be an experience.

Some relief from a boil that suddenly appeared on Sunday and has been festering all week. It started to go nasty after I gave it a bit of a firm squeeze and a load of gunk came out smelling like a blocked drain. I've put up with that until today, so I went to a walk-in centre and waited 3 hours only to be told they couldn't deal with it as it would involve local anesthetic and slicing it open. Off to A&E with a letter from the doc's, another 3 hours sitting around, luckily I brought a book. Then I got to see a very pleasant lady called Kim who stuck the anesthetic in and sliced it open and dug out all the gunge, that girl has some strong fingers and a strong stomach, that stuff stinks, a bit of a long boring day but the end result is worth it, thanks NHS again.

I did mention that I had seen a vid on YT about this procedure, and someone ending up with an eyeful of pus we had a laugh then all of sudden face shields were acquired.
