It's off the wife's electric scooter. Main power feed to the motor.
Scooter stopped moving but relay was clicking to show brake was coming off and occasionally it would try to move a little.
As it's soft start it never drew enough current or voltage (or get up and go) to actually move.
Investigations showed some corrosion as it has been on site in a tin box for 2 years unused.
Batteries charge ok according to the main console and external charger. Not got my meter to check but 3 weeks ago it went round the lake 4 acre on two occasions.
Since that extreme hot weather it's started playing up.
I am not sure if the black shown in the photo is burning or melted grease/compound/whatever.
Clip has a shrink wrap shroud on so I can't see anything getting in.....but it looks like black tar on the male connector. Only on the high current leads.
So main question is what is the clip family so I can Google how to remove the spade connectors inside it to check for arcing.
