My Cosmo 130 power settings are doing my head in - has anyone got one out there that can check their readings please. I have attached the manual showing the circuit diagram and below are the buttons from the manual
If depressing the lower part of the button is yaken as off then i get the following readings
Off Off Off 32v
Off Off On 32v
Off On Off 26v
Off On ON 29v
On Off Off 45v
On Off On 45v
On On Off 36v
On On On 40v
which isnt logical. I suspect someone before me has played with the wires and not returned them to their correct connections. If anyone out there has a Cosmo 130 or similar SIP could they measure the voltages please. A photo ofthe wiring connections would be most welcome.
As an example of what i would regard as logical I have a BOC Migmaster Turbo 130
which gave
Off Off 22V
Off On 24V
On Off 27V
On On 30v.
Im hoping this might explain why I had so many problems getting the Cosmo to perform as I expected it should - even afetr the standard mods of separate PSU for the wire feed, brace on the wire feed pulleys and metal liner.
Any help greatly appreciated
