Am I right in thinking that Redbull chose to pit Perez yesterday fit him with softs in order to get fastest lap which Lewis had held during the race. Thus denying him 1 point. If that is correct they sacrificed multiple team points and multiple driver points just to deny Lewis 1 point, who was it that was thrown under the bus then Horner?

i dont think he was in a points scoring position (either personal or team) when they made the decision. i think it was about 4 laps from the end .

I thought that he was in a position to overtake and claw his way into the points. But that choice was taken away from him. I'd have to watch it again to be honest. It was a good recovery drive considering.

Watched the F1 show last night with Ted K and Rob Smedley, they showed a couple of different shots of the crash, even they did not fully agree on the culprit or the penalty.

so next is Hungary, a high downforce circuit. Should be another great race, especially for the midfield runners.
Will GR63 finally get a point ?

After watching several reviews of the incident it seems like most commentators agree the 10 second penalty for Hamilton was fair as Verstapen was "almost" as much to blame.

I do wonder what all the Dutch pundits are saying though.

I am writing here so couldn't have been the worst then, bit my tongue for a day trying to compose a message as I realized what I had posted could be interpreted totally differently to what I actually mentioned to write. For this I retract my post and apologise.
Now before I turn into the Westminster bubble I have a F1 slightly off camber question.
In the aftermath of the coming together on the first lap we were seeing views of a car in the tyre wall surrounded by technicians who were surrounded at distance by the stewards (note no names no sides here ). It took ages to sort out and the reason given was for safety and to check for electricity.
Does this now mean
A. the drivers are sitting in potential electric chairs
B. are Tesla's just as dangerous in an accident.
C. my oil burner has a kers system on board in a coming together will it be as dangerous.
Ok that's 3 and mods move elsewhere if more relevant. Ta

It is scheduled to be trialled at 3 races silverstone was the first, I am not sure when the next two are , rumours are that Monza will be the next one (10-12/09/21)

Odd, so how do you raise an issue, if you have to be invited? Must admit, Todd would not be my first, or second choice, to lead the FIA.

To be fair Michael Massey told to to visit the stewards.

I can see both sides. There is always two sides to a Story. But Red Bull tugging at the emotions of the Stewards was not on. Being invited to put forward a defence or asked to comment is fine IMHO.
